🎄Blogmas Day 2 🎄 | Cosy Hot Chocolate

Hello lovelies,
A silly little post today but winter is all about cosy nights in, crackling fires (Or candles if you don't have a fireplace), blankets and hot drinks. This is just a little post about how I make my perfect hot chocolate. Its not the most exciting post but I've wanted to do this for a while.

At Christmas I don't think you can beat the perfect hot chocolate. For me there's something so satisfying about cupping your hands around a piping hot mug of hot chocolate. Now I don't do the "Just add water" hot chocolates, I just don't think they taste as good. I make them with a lot of chocolate powder and milk.

I grab my favourite mug, at the minute I'm using the one below. I found it in Asda for £2. I think it's just so cute and festive. I then add a little bit of marshmallow fluff to the bottom and a few smarties. I then grabbed some caramel sauce and drizzled it around the mug. I measured out the amount of milk I needed using the mug. Popped that in a microwavable jug and then added about 4-5 teaspoons of chocolate powder. I popped it in the microwave for about 3 minutes, stirred it half way through and then let it reach the perfect temperate. After I popped it in my mug, grabbed some spray cream and topped it off with a lot of cream, a drizzle of sauce and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

As you can see, this is my hot chocolate. Now this tasted so good. The perfect little pick me up after a rather stressful few days. I know this post was so pointless but it made me feel a little more christmassy.

See you tomorrow for blogmas day 3.
