Lush easter range |

Hello lovelies,
Sorry for the awful post yesterday. To make up for that pitiful excuse of a blog post here’s a shiny new lush haul for you. We all know that I use this blog as an excuse to do a bit of online shopping so when I saw that lush had released the eaters range.....well everything went into the basket and the next thing I know, my bank card details were being processed by lush and my products were on their way.
Which came first? | £6.95

This bath ballistic is absolutely huge. At Easter lush normally do bring out some big bath ballistics and I was very happy to see this one in the range. I really like the smell of this one, its quite fruit and smells like a toned down version of the comforter bubbler bar, but slightly more vanilla-ish. Here’s what is says on lush about it "If this sweet and citrussy bath bomb can't answer the age-old question then what can? Crack open the generously-sized pink egg to coax out the chick inside and enjoy three egg-cellent soaks over a couple of nights. Or, if you fancy something really decadent, use the entire bomb at once to infuse your bath water with deliciously sweet, fuchsia waters brimming over with fruity fragrance. What did the chicken cross the road? To get to the bathroom of course!".

Bunch of carrots | £6.25

The bunch of carrots are the most adorable thing I’ve seen. The carrots are little bubble bars and unlike last year, this year lush have added a purple and pink while last year they were all orange. I think they smell like liquorice but I may be wrong on that. I think they are really cute and you can get a good amount of baths out of this little bunch of carrots. Here’s what it says on the website "Dig up the dirt on refreshing tropical bathing with this adorable trio of carrots. Hold one of these reusable carrots under running water to send bubbly clouds of bunch, lemon and grapefruit oils scurrying across your bath, and then pop it on the side for next time. The distinctive, bright colours of this heritage bunch make it an attractive addition to Easter baskets and Easter bathtimes alike.".

Golden egg | £3.95

This is a bath bomb bath melt and this is a messy one. While taking the picture for this I got covered in gold glitter, that’s not me complaining because who doesn't like glitter. I think it smells a little chocolaty which is lovely and because I know it has cocoa butter in it, I already know this is going to make my skin feel amazing. Here’s what it says on the website about the golden egg "How do you like your eggs in the morning? Toffee-scented, molten gold and packed full of Fair Trade Colombian cocoa butter? Soak in a dazzling bath of moisturising olive oil and golden lustre until your skin feels softer than caramel and smells more chocolatey than Mr Wonka's factory. Uplifting bergamot and sweet, wild orange oils help to tone and brighten, giving a sweet fruitiness to this most luxurious soak.".

Fluffy egg | £2.95

If you love snow fairy then you will love this bath ballistic. This is basically that but at Easter. I love how vibrant the pink if and I can’t wait to pop this in the bath. Here’s what it says on lush "Oh, fairytales. They're so full of clouds of comforting hot pink fluffiness. Everything smells like the sweep of air that follows your footsteps outside sweet shops. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, you spot adorable candy flowers spinning off in the bath. You feel like you're dancing through the air, light as anything; it's a nightmare. But hey, if that sort of thing appeals...".

Ultraviolet | £4.95

This bubble bar is quite strong but I do actually like the scent. For me I'm getting a lot of lavender but also rosemary. I’m not sure why...hang on let me look at the ingredients. No it doesn't have any in it but Imp not sure, that’s what I'm getting. It’s a lovely scent though and I can’t wait to crumble this into my bath and see the water turn a lovely shade of purple. Here’s what lush say about it "Come over to the dark side of the rainbow to bathe in decadent violet and jasmine bubbles, flecked with twinkling snowflake lustre and deep purple waters. Grounding rosewood adds rich floral notes to this sweet bubbly fragrance, helping you to find the silver lining from your bath.".

Humpty dumpty | £6.95

This is one that just had to be mine. This is massive and it’s just so cute. I love the blue and the smell is so delicious. It smells a little like the lord of misrule bath ballistic that lush bring out in November, and if you've been following my blog long then you'll be aware that its one of my favourites. Here’s what it says about it on lush "As soon as the cheerful egghead with the unravelling bow tie touches the water, his caramel-smooth personality is revealed in notes of bright bergamot and Brazilian orange oil. Crack a smile as his outer shell breaks away, revealing a hidden alter-eggo (scrambling for puns over here). His innards appear as a perfectly formed fried egg (an all vegan variety of course). If you're in a hump and down in the dumps, it's now superbly easy to flip your spirits onto the sunny side."
