Lush big blue | Review

Hello lovelies,
This is my first lush review of 2016 and I'm determined to make them much better this year. You all who big a lush addict I am and well, I may have found a new favourite. We all know that pretty hard for me considering I don't really like to stray from the good bath bombs. After a very stressful week at work I treated myself to a lovely lush bath. Click on the image and it will take you to the lush page where you can buy this lovely bath bomb.

Anyway on with the review. So when I went to the heaven that was lush oxford street, I picked up a fair few bath bombs. If you want to see what I got then click this lovely little link here. I will admit that in a store that big, the smells do get very overwhelming and its hard to judge whether or not you actually like the smell. I picked up the big blue bath bomb and I'll be the first to admit that I really didn't like it. However it grew on my and now its like a staple lush scent. Here's what lush say about big blue "This calming bath bomb evokes a summer’s day at the seaside: perfect for drifting off. Big Blue’s key ingredient is a type of kelp called arame seaweed, which softens in your hot bath water. Arame is rich in vitamins and minerals including iodine, which helps to regulate the metabolism. Sea salt softens the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells, while lemon oil clears the mind and, like lavender oil, is antiseptic and cleansing".

Ingredients |
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Coarse Sea Salt, Fine Sea Salt, Perfume, Arame Seaweed, Lemon Oil, Lavender Oil, Seaweed Absolute, *Eugenol, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 42090, Colour 19140.

When I first smelt this bath ballistic I wasn't madly in love with it. After a stressful week it turned out that this was exactly what I needed. To me this smells a little bit like Ylang song (Review here) but just slightly stronger. You all know my love for Devon and bigbury beach. Well this takes me there in my mind. The smell is just like the beach shop at the top of the beach that's got a drift wood type floor covered in sand. It smells like damp sand when you make your sandcastles and the added seaweed just takes me back to when I was younger. A care free 8 year old little girl who had the most amazing time playing in the sand. This is just what I needed to put me in a good mood.

I would say that if you don't like musky scents or quite overpowering ones, this might not be the best product for you. However it can be quite nice, I wouldn't use this is I had a headache because it is strong.I would say its quite a musky scent of lavender with only a tiny hint of lemon. Its not for lavender haters but I actually love this product now. I will be popping to lush to stock up on these ballistics so I've got a little stash ready for when works been very stressful.

If any of you try this bath bomb then let me know in the comments. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Lots of love,
Chloe xxx
