Blogmas day 11 | The grinch review

Hello lovelies,
Today I wanted to write a review for my all time favourite Christmas film, the Grinch. This film was released when I was three but I can't remember a Christmas where I haven't watched it. I love everything about this film and its written by Dr.Seuss, one of my favourite children authors.

Here's what it says online about the Grinch "In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children's tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen).".

For me the Grinch has been one of the only films that I want to watch at Christmas since I was really little. The Grinch character used to scare me, I don't know why but he just did. I love Jim carrey in this film, he puts so much into every character that he plays and I think he did a fantastic job in the Grinch. He brought so much life to the character and I think his comedy has made it my favourite. One of my favourite parts of the Grinch is when Cindy Lou is in her bedroom and she sings the where are you Christmas song, this makes me cry almost overtime and whenever I'm not feeling Christmassy I always listen to this song.

I also love the scene where the Grinch is getting ready to go to the who celebration and he can't find anything to wear, I have had so many Grinch moments and it makes me giggle every time I watch it.

Well I hope you liked that short review of the Grinch, theres a lot going on at the minute and it all a little bit stressful. Ive got a few days off soon so I'll write some posts and schedule them, hopefully they won't be as bad as this. Have you seen the Grinch? Let me know in the comments.

Lots of love,
Chloe xxx
