Lush the experimenter | Review

Hello lovelies,
I'm sorry this post is very late today but I've been out since 8am waiting to get my hands on the iPhone 6s. I'm now ready to put on some Adele and write this post. Today I'm reviewing the experimenter bath ballistic, one that I was really looking forward to but it just didn't really meet my expectations.

Here's what it says on there website about it "If you're looking for adventure... you'll find it in The Experimenter, starring vibrant colour, popping candy and Fair Trade vanilla absolute from near the Rwenzori mountains in Uganda. An enigmatic and comforting romance of... deep, complex vetivert notes that enthrall your senses before creamy vanilla and tonka provide a sweet antidote. It's everything you've always wanted to do ... and with a plethora of five bright colours, it's the only one you'll ever want to do it with again.". I really don't think it lives up to the hype that was created about it.

Ingredients |
Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Popping Candy, Vetivert Oil,Tonka Absolute, Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, Cream of Tartar, Titanium DioxideSodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine*, Coumarin*, Limonene*, Eugenol,*Linalool, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Tin Oxide, Gold Glimmer Lustre,Colour 42090, Colour 45410, Colour 45350.

I will admit that I got this bath bomb more for the show of colours that I had been seeing on instagram. It does look gorgeous when it hits the water. The colours swirl around to make a cool display but when the colours mix its sort of turns the bath a horrible purple/black colour. I didn't notice any popping candy in the bath bomb and it left my skin feeling really dry and irritated. Its a pretty product but it wasn't a nice soothing bath bomb that leaves your skin feeling incredible. I had to use my king of skin bar to make my skin feel more moisturised.

I also managed to get my hands on most of the Christmas range today, I'm ordering the rest online because they didn't have everything but I will do a haul once I have everything. The range is amazing this year and they have added some new ones that you will love.

Lots of love,
Chloe xxx
