Lush blackberry bomb | Review

Hello lovelies,
I'm reviewing the blackberry bath bomb bath ballistic from lush today. This is a bath bomb that I didn't really rate that well when I saw it in the shop. It actually smells pretty good. Its quite a strong scent so if you prefer lighter fragrances then this might not be the one for you. It is one of the bigger bath ballistic so I would say that this could be broken in two because it will make it a better value for money.

Here's what lush says about it "As soon as you drop this into your bath, tension is banished as the bergamot and frankincense oils are released. Bergamot is used in aromatherapy for anxiety, depression and nervous tension, and is both relaxing and uplifting as well as antibacterial. You’ll soon feel calmed as frankincense oil helps slow down breathing and induces a feeling of wellbeing." It was definitely good at helping me relax. I stayed in the bath for a good hour because I just wanted to stay all cosy in the smell of this bath bomb."

Ingredients |

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Bergamot Oil, Frankincense Oil, Hexyl Cinnamal, Lilial, Colour 42053, Colour 17200.

I was pleasantly surprised with this bath bomb. I didn't think I would like it because it was strong smelling. However once it had fizzed away in the bath it got a bit lighter and the colour was so pretty. I thought it would turn the bath water blue, when it actually turned the water a gorgeous deep purple. I also noticed a little bit of paper floating around the bath which when I looked said boom boom. I thought this was such cool little thing to put in the bath bomb as it was a pleasant little surprise.  This bath bomb was £3.25 which is cheaper than some of the bath bombs I have previously reviewed. I think next time I will break this in half just so I can get my moneys worth out of it but either way, its still a pretty good price for the size of the product.

Have you tried this bath bomb yet? Let me know what you think in the comments and if you have any recommendations then I would love to hear them.

Lots of love,
Chloe xxx
