Spending the night in A&E |

Hello lovelies
I woke up yesterday at 5am because I had to be in at 8. I can't begin to tell you how tired I was. I went to work to do the open up. One of the girls I work with called in sick so it was just me and 1 other person for a bit. It wasn't to bad but it got a lot worse later on. I was plating up all the food, which is all kept in a metal ban marie. I was rushing and I smashed right hand on the metal.

I smashed my finger next to my thumb and was in so much pain. I was almost in tears but I didn't want to make a fuss. We were really busy and I didn't want to seem weak. I finished work at 5, went home and had dinner and because I was in so much pain my dad said I should go to a and e to get my finger looked at.

My mum took me there and we had to see the nurse before going to reception. I saw we because I wasn't going in alone, I may be 18 but I still want my mum in situations like this. The nurse asked what happened and then sent me to reception where I had to fill on all types of forms. I couldn't fill them in as I could hardly hold a pen.

We waited for about 30 minutes and then I was called to go for an X ray. After I had my X ray we had to go back to the waiting room to wait to see the nurse. We waited in there until 9pm and then I was seen by the nurse. She said my finger wasn't broken but I had bad internal bruising. It's odd because my
Finger isn't bruised but it hurts like hell. She said as much as it hurts I need to keep moving it as it could get worse.

On the way back my mum treated me to a mcflurry which was delicious. I felt really bad going to work and telling my manager. I was in agony but she put me on the till for the day. I didn't get much sleep last night so as I'm writing this I keep dosing off.

Sorry for the long and boring post. I just wanted to let you know why there's not a decent post today. I'll see you all on Wednesday for my baking post. This week I'm showing you how I made my pizza.
My finger even hurts now while I'm typing.
Lots of love,
Chloe
