Lush Honey bee | Review

Today's lush product is the honey bee bath bomb. I'm going to go ahead and warn you now that this isn't going to be a review about how I've found a new favorite, its more of an in between opinion post. Don't get wrong the honey bath bomb was good but it just wasn't what I expected. I thought it would have a sweeter smell and smell a lot like honey. It doesn't, its smells a little like sex bomb with the classic bath bomb smell. That not necessarily a bad thing but it jut wasn't what I was hoping for the product.

Here's what lush say about the product "A good soak in a Honey Bee bath will soothe and cleanse the skin thanks to its wonder trio of honey, aloe vera, and rhassoul mud, a clay mined near Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Honey is a wonder ingredient that soothes, retains moisture and is antiseptic, and we add plenty of cooling aloe vera, too. Rhassoul mud has natural cleansing properties, and also helps condition and soften the skin.". I think considering that they say that the honey is a wonder ingredient, it could have had a sweet smell a little more like honey.

I will say that it did make the bath a nice shade of yellow and made the water feel really nice and moisturising. The bad thing is that once i had emptied the bath, I was left with it stained yellow for about a week. Now that's fine if i lived on my own, but its my parents house and i felt bad that i had stained their bath a nice shade of yellow. It didn't look that great once the bath was empty.

Have you tried the honey bee bath bomb? What did you think of it?
Let me know in the comments.

Bye for now xxx
