Disney playlist |

For the last few weeks at work they have been playing Disney songs on repeat, I'm sure all of you know how happy that makes me. I thought I would show you a playlist of all my favourite Disney songs. Just to warn you, this is going to be a very gif heavy post.

A whole new world |
Aladdin is one of my favourite Disney films and I just love this song. I think its just so romantic and I just love the scene of the film that goes with this song.
 Favourite line:
"No one to tell us no or where to go or say we're only dreaming"

Beauty and the beast |
Oh the tale as old as time. I love beauty and the beast and this song just fills me with goosebumps. I love the idea of me and someone I love twirling around a ballroom to this song.
Favourite line:
"Certain as the sun. Rising in the east. Tale as old as time. Song as old as rhyme. Beauty and the beast"

Be our guest |
Again, another beauty and the beast song. I just love how upbeat and fun this song is. Its was probably one of the first Disney songs I knew all the words to.
Favourite line:
"No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining"

Circle of life |
Circle of life will forever be my favourite lion king song. I feel like its just so empowering, I don't know why but I just do. I also love the scene to this song.
Favourite line:
"From the day we arrive on the planet and blinking, step into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen. More to do than can ever be done"

Mother knows best |
I'm a little bit obsessed with this song from tangled. I think the lyrics are just so funny and its a song that me and my mum both love.
"Go ahead, get trampled by a rhino. Go ahead, get mugged and left for dead. Me, I'm just your mother, what do I know? I only bathed and changed and nursed you"

One jump |
Another Aladdin favourite of mine. I love the energetic scene that goes with this scene. Also Aladdin was the first Disney man that I had a tiny crush on. Yes, I had a crush on a cartoon. Don't judge me.
Favourite line:
"One jump ahead of the breadline. One swing ahead of the sword. I steal only what I can't afford, that's everything"

Almost there |
I haven't  actually watched the princess and the frog but I really love this song from the film. I love hows it so upbeat and really catchy to listen to and sing along to.
Favorite line:
"There's been trials and tribulations. You know I've had my share. But I've climbed the mountain, I've crossed the river and I'm almost there"

Belle |
This post really should have been called the beauty and the beast play list, sorry. I love this song and I have perfected the lyrics now and can sing every line in every voice.
Favourite line:
"Ohhhhhh....isn't this amazing? It's my favourite part'll see. Here's where she meets Prince Charming, but she won't discover that it's him till chapter three!"

For a moment |
A little mermaid song now. I could have picked a classic like under the sea but as much as I love that, I wanted to put this song in. I just love it so much because the Harmony's between the two characters are brilliant.
Favorite line:
"For a moment all of me is alive and at home in the sea. I'm swirling and twirling, so graceful and grand not stubbing my toes getting stuck in the sand"

A spoonful of sugar |
Julie Andrews as Mary Poppins. What a combination. I love Mary Poppins and the songs are just a work of art on there own.
Favourite line:
"A robin feathering his nest has very little time to rest, while gathering his bits of twine and twig"

I'm on my way |
The first time I watched brother bear was when I was in year 2 I think. I instantly fell in love with this song by Phil Collins.
Favourite line:
"So tell 'em all I'm on my way. New friends and new places to see and to sleep under the stars.Who could ask for more with the moon keeping watch over me"

He lives in you |
Another lovely song from the lion king. I just love the backing tack to this song. its just such a beautiful song.
Favourite line:
"In your reflection. He lives in you"

Reflection |
I don't really like Mulan as a film but I love song. I feel a connection with this song, I always have. I think it just speaks to so many people.
Favourite line:
"Must there be a secret me, I'm forced to hide? Must I pretend that I am someone else for all time?"

The bare are necessities |
Did anyone else have the jungle book dance mat when they were younger. This is the song that I loved and this always reminds me of the hours I used to spend on there trying to finnish the game.
Favourite line:
"Now when you pick a pawpaw or a prickly pear and you prick a raw paw next time beware. Don't pick the prickly pear by the paw when you pick a pear try to use the claw. But you don't need to use the claw when you pick a pear of the big pawpaw"

Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious |
I know the sound of this is something quite atrocious..See what I did there? No, well moving on. I think this song is just so good. Trying to learn the words to this when I was little was probably my biggest challenge. I can now sign the whole song, which isn't good considering that its played at work daily. I do try to keep it in but normally I have to sing along. Luckily I have a girl at work who loves Dinny as much as me.
Favourite line:
"If you say it loud enough, you'll always sound precocious"
Wherever you are |
Last but certainly not least. A beautiful song from Winnie the pooh. I love pooh bear and this song is just so lovely. This song makes me think about my beautiful nanny who died when I was a baby. I just feel all emotional when I hear this and this song will forever stay in my heart. I know its about pooh finding Christopher Robin but it just make me feel connected to it. I always think of my nan, every single day without fail and wonder.
 Favourite line:
All of it. Sorry but here's my favourite.
"Because it is just a dream when I open up my eyes I´ll lose you"

Okay I'm getting very emotional now. Ill see you on Wednesday for another post. Let me know in the comments whats on your Disney play list.

Bye for now xxx
