The Book tag |

I saw this tag a while ago and I cant find the blog I found it on. If it was you who did this tag or created it then please let me know as I want to read more of your blog. Im going to tag Lou (Lou's world) first as I know she loves books and also the rest of the lovely beau bloggers.

1. Favourite book?
I have a very big list of favourite's but I would have to go with Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher. I just love the romance in the story and I feel like I can relate to the character Sophie in a lot of ways.

2.Favourite author?
J.K Rowling, Giovanna Fletcher and Roald dahl. I love J.K Rowling because of the fantastic world she created though Harry Potter. I love Giovanna Fletcher because her writing style is just beautiful and I cant get lost in her words and be transported to a whole new world. I have also had to include Roald Dahl as he was the creator of so many brilliant books that I grew up reading, my favourite was always Matilda and I think they are brilliant book's for children.

3.What genre do you prefer?
Fantasy and romance. I love that with fantasy anything is possible and it really opens up your imagination and takes you to amazing places. I also love a romance novel because I think its nice to indulge in that once in a while, we all want a bit of romance in our lives and if that isn't possible in real life, then its nice to escape into a world where you can live it.

4.What is your favourite book series/trilogy?
Harry Potter, without a doubt. I only read the books last year and I was so amazed at the effect they had on me. I feel like this series has so many great life lessons and it takes you into a completely new world.

5. What book did you hate reading in school?
Romeo and Juliet. I hated this book, partly because we each had to read out loud the part of a character but also because everyone knows what happens. I just down think this was for me, I know its a brilliant story that's been read for years but it just didn't really interest me.

6. What is one of the first books you remember reading?
When I was really little I know my mum read us Dr.seuss books but the first book I read on my own was probably the Amelia Jane series. I also used to read the

7. Bookstores or Libraries?
Book stores. I feel like you can actually speak in a book shop without getting the look of death from the staff. I also love the smell of new books and what better place to go. I also love browsing through the hundreds of books they have in different sections.

8. How many books do you own?
About 30. This doesn't sound like a lot but I have quite a few on ibooks. I want to get more but I don't really have the room to have hundreds of books, I would love to have my own library but that's just not a possibility's.

9. Do you read before you go to sleep?
I do like to read before I got to sleep but I get really distracted by my phone. I know this is really bad but I am going to start reading more before I go to sleep. I think it will help me relax before I go to sleep, my minds normally in overdrive when I go to bed.

10. most comfortable reading position?
Laying on my bed on my stomach. Its just easier for me as If I sit up and read I get a really bad pain in my neck form looking down for hours at a time.

11. Most recent book you read?
The most recent book I read was Love, Tanya by Tanya Burr but I'm currently reading "Loves me not" by Samara O'Shea

12. What is one quotes from a book that you love?
“I think it’s funny how life can lead you down certain paths which you wouldn't have taken otherwise.” Billy and Me

13.  Science Fiction or Fantasy?
Fantasy. I feel like with science fiction there has to be a reason for why things happen but with fantasy there's no end to what can happen. I think fantasy gives your mind the freedom to create your own world within the book.

14. What book do you regret reading?
I don't think I have ever regretted reading a book. Even if a book hasn't been to my liking, I'm still glad I read it. I think you can learn a lot about yourself through books you don't like. Like books that have different opinions to you that you would have never thought about, it could be something little but you can learn a few things about yourself and what you like and don't like, if that makes any sense.

15. How large is your book case/shelf?
My book case is quite small and my books have to share the space with my DVDs. Take the size of a regular book and I would say its 16 books wide and has 4 shelves to put them on.

16. On average how many books do you read a year?
Probably about 4 or 5. I want to start reading a lot more, if you click on the bookshelf tab at the top of my blog then you can see just how many books I still have to read and review.

17. what book so you read hundreds of times without getting bored?
The Harry Potter series and Billy and me.

18. do you like to read outside?
I love reading outside int he summer. Although because I live in rainy England that's no much sun around, even in the summer.

19. what is the biggest life lesson you have learnt from a book?

20. What is the best book you have read so far?
Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher, I know I've mentioned this book several times during this post but its my favourite and really get me into romance novels.

Bye for now xxx
