The Harry Potter tag |

Hello
I saw a blog post about Harry Potter a few days ago and it really made me want to do this tag. I went on YouTube to see what the questions were. I saw Joey Graceffa's video with Jim Chapman and I loved it, so I thought I would do this tag for you today. Let me know what you think in the comments and I would love to hear some of your answers. You all know that I'm a very big fan of Harry Potter from my blog post I did when I visited Harry Potter studios last year, so I hope you enjoy this post and I just want to apologise now because I do ramble on an awful lot in this post.

Favourite book |
I really loved the philosopher's stone because I think it brings you into the wizarding world fantastically and gets you hooked on the story but I think my favourite book will always be the Half blood prince. I really love this book as I think we see all the characters mature a lot more and also we get to hear more about Draco and I love how his character is explored me in the plot. In Order of the Phoenix we see the theme get darker but Half blood prince changes the whole theme of the books, it get a lot darker and I think we see the characters really struggle at times with what they are involved with. That's why I love it so much, we get to see a more vulnerable side to the dark characters and it made me think about the characters with a lot more sympathy.

Favourite movie |

Order of the phoenix. I think this is the best film because we get introduced to professor Umbridge who I thought was actually worse than Voldemort. I think it was a powerful message about abuse and how someone in an authoritative role can use than to be very manipulative and (Sorry for the next part) very spiteful bitch. I also love this film because we get introduced to Luna Lovegood and I absolutely adore her character, she's so quirky and she doesn't really care that she doesn't fit in. I think Luna is someone to be admired and to be honest I would a whole book about Luna and Draco's childhoods, I think that would be so interesting to read.

Least favourite book |
Prisoner of azkaban. I don't know why but for me this book just seemed a bit slow going for me. Obviously I enjoyed it and it was good to have the character of Sirius black introduced to the readers, I just felt that there could have been more.

Parts of the books/movies that made you cry |
I cried through all the books and films so its going to be hard to narrow this down. I cried my heart out when Fred died and Ron comes in and just goes and hugs his body. I thought this was such an emotional scene for the Weasley family and I think it was done incredibly well. I also cried like a baby when Snapes dying and he looks at Harry and says "You have your mothers eyes". When Harry take's his tears to the pensive and see's that Snape has been protecting him because he was  in love with Lily. I think it was just so emotional to watch that scene because as Snape was dying, even though it was Harry he saw a part of the women he loved, the women he put his life in danger for.

If you could hook up with any HP character who would it be?
Okay this is easy for me. Fred or George Weasley. I really love their characters and I love people who can make me laugh so I think we would have a lot in common. Also if I had to marry a Harry Potter character then I would want Molly Weasley as my mother in law. She's just so sweet and kind. Actually I'm also going to pick Neville. I think he is just so sweet and also in the last four films he really grows up and well if you watch Bluestone 42, you will know what he looks like now. Also he killed Nagini, that's pretty cool and he also saves Ron and Hermione from her.

Favourite character |
There are so many amazing characters and I love them all. I really love Hermione and Luna. I think they both have personality traits that I love. I love how free spirited Luna is and I just love how Hermione is basically the only reason Harry managed to make it to the final book. Hermione is the one who comes up with the plans and the one with all the knowledge. To be honest I love all the female characters because they are just so well written, the women in the books are, in my opinion the only reason why the men survived. I loved how the whole series created so many great role models for girls. I also really loved Draco, now I know that's probably really bad but I think in the last three films you see that he starts to doubt what he has believed all his life. Also cast Tom Felton, a very handsome looking man, to play an evil character. How is that fair, I didn't want to like the villain but who doesn't have a teeny tiny crush on him?

What would your Patronus be?
I think my patronus would be a hedgehog. I think they are really cute and I just think that would be a pretty cool patronus to have.

If you could have the Resurrection Stone, Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand which one would you choose?
I would choose the Elder wand. I would only use it for good of course but I think it would be handy to have. I love the sound of the invisibility cloak but I don't think it would fit. If they had a plus size cloak then I would probably pick that, there's no point being half invisible. It sort of ruins the whole thing.

What House would you be in?
Well I've been sorted on Pottormore twice, I forgot my login so I made a new account. The first time I got Hufflepuff and the second time I got Slytherin. I like to think I'm a healthy mix between the two. Even though a lot of people turn evil in Slytherin, there were some who were actually trying to protect the school. Snape risked his life for Lily and Harry, I don't agree with how he treated Harry but in the end he did protect him and did it in memory of Lily up until the moment he died.

IF you could meet any member of the cast who would it be?
Emma Watson. I think she is such an inspiration women and she has never let the fame get to her head, she uses her public image to help and inspire help, also she's has a beautiful personality.

Have you played any of the video games?
When I was little me and my sister had the chamber of secrets game on Ps1. We never finished it but after that we didn't really play it. I remember we got past the train/car part and we were collecting beans in the herbology classroom.

IF you were on the Quiddich team which position would you play?

I think I would be a beater. I used to be able to hit the ball quite far in rounders so I think the skills are transferable. Well apart from the fact that in rounders I wasn't on a Nimbus 2000 or a fire bolt, I still think it could be pretty easy to get used to.

Were you happy with the ending?
I was really happy with the way it ended. I don't think it needed a whole story as to how they got on after the war. It ended perfectly in my opinion and was a lovely way to end an incredible series. Of course I wouldn't object if J.K.Rowling announced she was going to write more but for now it was the perfect ending. You know that they're Happy and I think that's the main thing.

How much does Harry Potter mean to you?
To me Harry Potter isn't about wizards and magic, that sounds crazy but let me explain. I love the element of magic but to me its more about a battle against evil, using love to overcome fear. I think the whole series is filled with great messages to send out to people. In the first film we see how friendships are made. In the fifth film we learn to to judge others by what we see, Luna is very free spirited and this comes across a little weird to the other characters. Its only when they get to know her that they see just how nice and kind she is. I think J.K.Rowling made something special and I think this will live on for hundreds, maybe thousands of years. We learn about Shakespeare and Charles dickens in schools now but I think there will come a time where children will learn about her and the amazing stories, characters and legacy she created. I think the series also means a lot to me because we know just how much effort went into these books, she didn't have the perfect life when she created Harry Potter, her imagination led her to success and it just goes to show that if you try hard enough, have such a passion for your work then you can achieve anything you want.

I hope you enjoyed that tag, I really loved answering all the questions. I'm tagging all of you reading this post, I know some people dint like Harry Potter so I don't want to tag people who don't want to do it. If you do this tag then please leave me a link in the comments because I would love to see some of your answers.

Bye for now xxx
