Blogmas Day 4 | Do you have to be religious to celebrate Christmas?

Hello

I just want to start this post by saying that I respect all religion's and everyone's opinions, this is just my view on Christmas and I completely understand if you don't agree.
The answer to the question "do you have to be religious to celebrate Christmas?" is no. I feel like over the years Christmas has lost all religious meaning. It used to be about the birth of Jesus but over time people have almost forgotten what the whole day is about. I just love the festivities.

That sounds ridiculous I know but just because you don't celebrate the day and what its about I don't think you have to be religious to enjoy the season and what it represents. Christmas to me means family, giving people presents no matter how big or small to show them how much you love and appreciate them. It means watching terrible TV programs, listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album and having time of school or work.

Even if you do not celebrate Christmas then that's fine, the whole meaning of Christmas has been lost over the years but I think people have created their own Christmas.. I'm not religious, But I still follow the basic rules of every religion, so for me the whole season of Christmas has nothing to do with religion it just simply has a lovely feeling to it, the fact that it brings families together from all over the country or the world. I love this season just because its cosy, if that makes any sense

Whatever you celebrate or whatever you do over this month, then I hope that you have fun and enjoy time with family, friends or even just yourself.

What are your views or this question, do you celebrate Christmas? If not then I would love to hear what you do at this time of year.

Thanks for reading.
Come back tomorrow for day 5.
Bye for now xxx
